Endlich zeige ich euch die Bilder von meinem Urlaub in Florida! Als erstes bin ich nach Orlando geflogen und bin dann mit dem Bus nach Kissimmee gefahren (hat mich unglaubliche 2 Stunden gekostet, den "guten" amerikanischen öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln sei dank...) weil unser Hotel da war. Obwohl ich den Abend noch vor mir hatte, war ich so müde, dass ich um 21 Uhr vorm Fernseher eingeschlafen bin. Ich habe dann 12 Stunden geschlafen, bis 9 Uhr morgens, das nenne ich richtigen Urlaub. Nachdem ich aufgestanden bin, habe ich mich fertig gemacht und da Lena ja erst um 18 Uhr ankommen würde, hatte ich noch etwas Zeit und beschloss mir Downtown Kissimmee anzusehen. Ich muss ehrlich sagen, ich war schon etwas enttäuscht, hatte ich doch vorher gelesen, wie schön Old Town Kissimmee ist und dass es definitiv einen Besuch wert ist und alles und deswegen habe ich erwartet, dass es in etwa wie Old Town Alexandria sein wird aber nichts da. Keine Menschenseele war auf der Straße (vielleicht, weil es Sonntag war, aber ich dachte eigentlich immer, dass das hier keinen Unterschied macht), was mir dann manchmal auch etwas Angst gemacht hat, als mir dann doch eine komische Gestalt entgegen gekommen ist. Und dann gab es auch eigentlich nichts besonderes zu sehen, ich weiß nicht, mich hat es einfach nicht beeindruckt. Es war trotzdem ein wunderschöner, sonniger Tag und ich habe es sehr genossen einfach nur herumzulaufen und am Ende habe ich dann doch einen wunderschönen See gefunden, der wenigstens etwas den Tag gerettet hat (und die bemalte Wand, die ich echt unglaublich fand). Aber seht selbst und lasst mich wissen was ihr denkt, ich habe versucht Kissimme etwas in Bildern einzufangen. Morgen werde ich dann Bilder von Downtown Kissimmee posten und berichten was mir und Lena so passiert ist und dann zeige ich auch endlich die Bilder von Disney World!

Finally I start to show you my pictures from my vacation in Florida! First I flew to Orlando and then I took the bus (took me 2 hours, this proves how "great" American public transportation really is...) to Kissimmee because our hotel was there. Even though I had the evening for me, I was so tired that I fell asleep in front of the TV around 9 o' clock. I slept 12 hours, until 9 in the morning, that I call real vacation. After I woke up I got ready and since my friend Lena would only arrive at 6 in the evening, so I had some time left and went to discover downtown Kissimmee. Honestly I was a little bit disappointed because I read earlier how beautiful Old Town Kissimmee is and that it's worth seeing and everything so I expected something like Old Town Alexandria but it was not at all like that. Nobody was around (maybe because it was Sunday but I always thought that's not a matter here), it was so empty that sometimes I felt weird and then it wasn't really something special to see, I don't know. I wasn't impressed. It was still a beautiful sunny day and I enjoyed just walking around and in the end I found a beautiful lake what saved the day a little bit (and the painted wall I found, thought that was amazing). But see yourself and tell me what you think, I tried to capture Kissimmee a little bit in pictures. Tomorrow I'll post pictures from downtown Orlando and then finally I show the pictures from Disney World!
